Managing your food cravings

Theres no doubt about it. cravings are part of any fat loss diet. so having preconceived ideas or strategies to overcome these is a great way to combat them when they suddenly show up. Because they will.

first off consider that when looking to lose weight or drop body fat (energy reserve stores) you aren’t meant to feel full all the time.

There is much inbetween Full and starving. So just because you may not be full doesnt mean youre hungry.


any given meal shouldnt make you less productive or feel lethargic. foods should fuel your body with high quality nutrients along with serving their purpose towards your goals.

there has to be an impetus and conviction with your goals, time frames and nutritional habits.

so when we use ‘moderation’ as an exuse to have the sugar fix we crave multiple times per week we are actually giving fuel to the fire.

PLAN, PREPARE & HAVE READY your meals and snacks for the day. Know what you are eating that morning for the rest of the day. This way this thinking aspect is done.

DRINK PLENTY OF WATER a glass of water before each meal will help with satiety aswell as keep the fluids going in.

CHEW SUGAR FREE GUM this can keep you occupied rather than snacking


HIGH PROTEIN SNACKS AT HAND. this keep you fuller for longer and wont spike insulin like carbs will.


HALT BEFORE YOU EAT. ask yourself are you really needing to eat or are you bored or

emotionally reaching for food.
