We are ALL Human!

Not like Instagram and Facebook and all other social media would have you believe. We all have obstacles, weaknesses and vulnerabilities. Some more than others. In real life these cant be filtered, air brushed, emoji'ed and edited. We cant angle our phone to get the best side, lighting and background. No matter how much pouting you may do, in the real world it doesn't mean anything.

So i want to share with you my experience. Even though being a PT and have already helped many ladies achieve their goals and again confidence there's times where my own is lacking...
What has become so apparent these last few weeks is my confidence or lack of it, self doubt am I good enough to do this?
I went to another gym one morning at 6am walked with what I had I mind to do which was legs looked at all the equipment and was like “what the hell”, I felt completely overwhelmed! Now this gym was full of “Big Men” with “Big Muscles” and then there’s little me. I was thinking are they looking at me and wondering what I’m doing there? So I changed my workout plan and found somewhere in the gym that wasn’t so busy and ended up doing shoulders instead of legs. As I started to do my workout obviously my confidence started to go up, self doubt started to decrease - I do know what I’m doing and jut need to believe in myself a bit more and not undervalue myself!
This is one thing i'm actively working on. Putting myself into situations outside my comfort zone and test me. As they say 'Results are at the end of your comfort zone' So its about acting upon this each time and progressing.
Love
I am feeling thankful and happy at where I am currently in my life my training is going really well, I’m feeling positive and love having that motivation to get in the gym and work hard which makes me feel good after. working towards progressing and my goals.
It isn't always this good though, Sometimes we're sent a curve ball which completely throws us off track and sends us into complete turmoil. Its at these points that we tend to lose our way and fall off the wagon so to speak and go into self destruct mode, we start seeing things worse than they actually are and undervaluing ourselves. WE ARE THE HARSHEST CRITICS OF OURSELVES So when things are going good, great, but success is measured by the consistency toward our goals we can maintain whilst things aren't going so good.
while for some this maybe turning to alcohol and junk foods that, at that particular time make us feel better (dopamine hit) about ourselves this happens to be the emotional side of our brains taking over.
If this happens don’t stress just pick yourself up and dust yourself off and start again the following day, don’t beat yourself up!
Have confidence in yourself. Don't be scared to seek help in whatever area you need. I'm a Personal Trainer and i have a PT in Matt, who also puts me right on mindset when mines in doubt. There's plenty of people out there that have coaches, mentors and whole teams around them. In fact I've been listening to some podcasts lately and even the best coaches in the world have coaches! crazy to think isn't it. the reality is we are ALL human, we cant do everything ourselves in vast majority of cases. Confidence is the key! Loving yourself is the lock.
