Day 4 Re-energised!
Day 4 Started my morning with some more sleepy Tabata but by the time I was finished I was alive and ready to go!
Managed to pace my food a lot better today, didn’t rush to eat it all in one go. 10/10 again for consumption I've stuck to the plan, i keep reminding myself its only Two weeks but before that its one day at a time, i can only tackle each day that's in front of me, this is what living in the present means. My target date of the wedding party is coming fast so i wont allow myself to go off track.
Had my blood boosters delivered today. These are to help with my energy levels, so will be taking these twice per day with breakfast and lunch as suggested by Matt, they contain lots of B vitamins and help fight off fatigue especially when its time the time of the month.
I Managed to get out of work a little early and got in a 40 min nap before my session with Matt. I love taking advantage of these naps! Good job too because today’s session was hard. Legs legs Legs. We used the new pendulum squat (Matts new pride and joy in his studio) and when every part of your body aches, boy its a killer!
But got though it and last night was the first night this week I have got some chill time to relax. So it was sofa and a little binge watch on Netflix well not so much a binge as 2 episodes! that's more than usual of late.
Rest is also so important for fat loss, when your body is under stress and pressure it hard to lose stubborn body fat. So don’t work yourself into the ground, this is something it took me a while to grasp. I used to work out relentlessly and eat very little trying to force what i wanted. its taken a while but i understand and appreciate you have to treat your body from a place of love not hate. Work with it to get results not treat it like the enemy. After all you and your body reside in the same space. I Decided to head up early to bed as I always find it’s the best way to combat the hungry feeling and night snacking. You can’t be hungry when your asleep!
Looking forward to tomorrow. Cardio day, Matt planned less intensity to help recovery so nice walk to keep the body moving and a good rest for the body, ready for the weekends activities!
