Day 3 was tough!

Day 3 started with my weight workout as I didn’t have time to fit it into the evening due to instructing my circuit class.

It kind of went in a daze, woke up at 530am I was really sleepy and couldn’t stop yawning. once at the studio we trained upper body to give my legs a rest and finished with some conditioning, As you can see hard work and giving effort isn't all smiles and rainbows like Social media would have you believe!

I was Really hungry so had my protein shake immediately after. I completely messed up this morning with my food, not in terms of overeating but in terms of eating all my food in one go. Because of feeling hungry I managed to consume my protein shake, breakfast, 2 snacks and lunch all before 1. As you can imagine that was a tough afternoon as all I had left to eat was my dinner. Its not that my day doesn't have enough food as i require, its that i simply ate it all to soon rather than spreading it out over the day.

Matt encourages and has planned for me to eat as much as possible according to what my body can handle/require and still burn fat.

Rather than go off track which would be the easy option and over eat today, I took the disciplined decision to stick with my plan for the day and combated the big afternoon gap.

I managed to leave work a little early and fitted in a 30 min nap. I really thought I wouldn’t get through the day. I managed to get up and get myself to the gym for my 2nd workout which was a short circuit. It was tough and I really felt it through my whole body.

I would still give myself 10/10 as I still ate perfectly throughout the day and stuck to plan. I did however have a few chewing gums. I was trying to trick my body into thinking it was eating food! i haven't told Matt this, so i guess hell find this out reading this. not a great idea, but it got my through feeling sick of having an empty stomach. Living with Matt means i live with a BIG eater, healthy foods but lots of them. SO taking on the deficit of food currently will take some getting used too. One thing i have to accept and all people on a fat loss diet is you have to be preapred to go hungry since we aren't eating to be full.

Thinking about it its true; there really is never perfect circumstances, only less than ideal ones. Whether our challenges or obstacles come from our own doing or not. We can only make the best decisions possible at the time. Discipline and focus really are the make or break of a plan. Its day 3 and i caused my own obstacles today, the plan is challenging enough without the added issues but never the less these are my goals, my wants so i'm doing my best to see them through.

Early night tonight to get my energy back, recover and go again tomorrow!!
